I wasn’t going to blog about this but my (older kids) family thought it was funny when I told them so I figured what the heck lol. At my house, we used to have one of those new wireless phone systems. Like 1 phone is jacked in and 2 or 3 are wireless, right? The thing is these phones don’t hold a charge for shinola. I hated them. The whole system finally died a couple weeks ago and I said dang it! I’m buying a phone with a cord! And my. Kids. Laughed!

‘Phones don’t have cords, Mom,’ they said.

To which I answered, ‘Ha! I’ll show you!’ And went to Walmart. Cause Wally World has everything, ya know? (Including coffins my 15yo likes to remind me.)

Took it out of the box. Plugged it in, hung it up. It was like some weird alien artifact had suddenly showed up in the house! They’re texting their friends, on Facebook, etc, saying dude! Phones used to have cords!

Yep. I’m gonna be 40 in April. I didn’t really believe it until now. LOL

I’ve been waiting to show off the next Dark Bonds cover (Kiss of Twilight, Dupree and Kara’s story) and here it is! The book will be available in Dec.
